Imagine this duo up front at your favourite Football Club? That´s
the idea that manager Rafa Benitez wishes for LIVERPOOL FC.
According to English sources "Mail on Sunday" & the "BBC Web"
Benitez is attempting to persuade DAVID VILLA to consider
seriously the possiblity of moving over to Liverpool. With Peter
Crouch likely to leave, a vacancy appears that Villa could nicely
fill & join fellow Spaniards Torres, Alonso, Reina...etc.
However, as wonderful as it sounds there are other clubs also
tempting the Spanish International like Fc Barcelona, Real
Madrid & Chelsea FC. Plus there is another obstacule, his estimated
40M€ price tag that will sort out the "men from the boys".
Stay tuned!

He would be fabulous to link up with Torres. Also I think Liverpool might win the battle, especially with Benitez who's Spanish and other clubs are more interested in other signings.(Hint : Real Madrid have gone ballistic over Ronaldo *frowns*)
Lets stay calm. Its pure speculation at this point...:)
I know it is speculation but wouldn't that be a dream partnership for Liverpool fans and/or football lovers!!
Yes!david Villa is a answer for liverpool upfront problem...but we have to remember that we dont have such a big money to pay to valancia.
Rafa Benitez has 50million quids for use.then he would get transfer money from the sale of riise, xavi alonso and any others that might exit.
I think Liverpool are front runners to grab Villa.Until and unless the likes of Madrid,Barcelona come through though I don't see that happening.
