IKER CASILLAS - Goalkeeper & Captain: So young yet
so mature. Leading this team & pushing himself into the Nº1
Spot as the Worlds Best Goalkeeper, by hard work & by his
performance. Inspirational. His two penalty saves against
Italy in the Q/Finals were crucial to get his team where it is.
CARLES PUYOL - Central Defender: Along with
Marchena, a rock in defence illustrating anticipation,
speed, determination & leadership. SFS pick as the Best
Defender at Euro 2008.
MARCOS SENNA - Defensive Midfielder: The bridge
between the defence & the attack. Solid, reliable,consistent
& a sure bet when his fellow midfield teammates are out of
place.
XAVI HERNANDEZ - Midfielder: He is the music that the
team dances to during the games. Skill, touch, vision, attack
& goal. He, along with Iniesta control the ball, the midfield
& the games.
CESC FABREGAS - Creative Midfielder: A team can only
have 11 players & has been 1ºst substitute up till now.
However, his participation & play have been fundamental to
get Spain into the Euro 2008 final. The injury to David Villa
will give him a place in the starting line up next Sunday.
