SPANISH FOOTBALL TRANSFER GOSSIP & RUMOUR BRIEFS 2008

Plenty of rumour on possible transfers, as the sports dailys look more
like the "Pink Press" with so much speculation. SFS will give you now
some of the more sounded pieces circulating at the moment.

According to them, AC MILAN returns to the adventure with an "old"
objective, to have at the club FC BARCELONA Captain & defender
CARLES PUYOL.

However, SFS assures that it is very complicated as Puyol is totally
integrated into the Barça culture & is a symbol of the club. The player
is a born & raised member of Camp Barça.

Staying at both FC BARCELONA & AC MILAN, apart from
Zambrotta who will go over to the Italian Club, there is continuing
speculation & mystery with RONALDINHO & DECO, according

Both are "missing" & have´nt been turning up to training, or to see
their team mates play for the last couple of days. Ronaldinho is waiting

Barça considers to be excessive. The news from "Sport" is that Alves

will pressure his current club to lower the price & allow him to leave
Sevilla for Barça. The Brazilian is considered a vital piece in the new
Barça proyect, but Sevilla wishes to cash in the maximum amount.

According to "Marca", VALENCIA CF will make a serious effort
& go after MALLORCA & Spanish International forward DANI
GUIZA who is currently the leading Spanish League Goalscorer

with 26 goal.
Valencia accepts that David Villa will leave at the end of the season
& see Guiza as the substitute.
