SPANISH FOOTBALL - LA LIGA - ROUND 36/ 2008 THURSDAY GAME RESULT

The last remaining game of Round 36 was played tonight with
the result ESPANYOL 0 - ATLETICO DE MADRID 2. A vital
win for Atletico who have Sevilla breathing on their back in the
competition for the 4ºth Champions League place on the
classification table.
Atletico with tonights victory creates a 3º point gap & regains the
said 4ºth place from Sevilla, but the battle is not over at all, as there
remains 2º more games for the end of the season.





















Atletico were worthy winners & wrapped up the game in the 1ºst
30 minutes of the game. Argentine star forward SERGIO AGUERO
(above) opened the scoring in the 26th min, followed by the teams
2ºnd thanks to Uruguayian striker DIEGO FORLAN ( below) in the
29th min.
























The rest of the game was exciting with chances & posts going
towards both sides, but destiny & luck smiled tonight on Atletico.
