to await their team to arrive for the traditional meeting with the
fountain of the "Goddess Cibeles", after being confirmed
mathematically Champions of the Spanish 1º Division ("La Liga")
for the 2007-08 season. Its their 31ºst Spanish title which is back
to back, which was last done 18 years ago
It´s tradition that when Real Madrid wins, that the team ( via its
Captain) gives its thanks to the "Goddess Cibeles" ( symbol of
Madrid) by crowning her with a team scraf & a flag that stays on all
day for everyone to see . Below RAUL is about to give "homeage &
thanks" as he kisses "Cibeles" in "gratitud"
