VALENCIA CF started with an explosion that shook GETAFE with
an early heading goal from MATA (above) in the 4th min to put his
team ahead.
Getafe had not recovered when Valencia hit back & hard with
a second goal in the 11th min with a header from Ex-Getafe

Getafe were morally dead & tried, but they were frustrated &
Getafe player Celestini got a Red Card for a bad foul. Valencia then
held out, & won this years Spanish Cup & their 7ºth in their history.

Incredible stuff. Although Valencia would now to have avoid relegation in La Liga. Given how previously they edged both Barca and Real only to start a losing streak, they must be careful lest they repeat that again.
I really wonder how many Valencia players will leave in the summer, especially David Villa. Still can't believe how a season which promised so much ended up being a nightmare for Valencia.
For Getafe, I am still in shock at how they let Bayern through.
