MOTO GP. JEREZ 2008 BRINGS THE PASSION

The spectacle of Moto GP has finished today at JEREZ ( Spain) with
more than 132.000 spectators & fabulous bike races in all catagories.
Mixed day for Spanish riders, with lots of spills & trills that kept the
emotion high.

The 125 cc catagory was full of passion as always , as seen above with
Webb & Olivé going down. The winner was the Italian CORSI who did

a great race followed by Spaniard TEROL & the Brit SMITH.

Result: Corsi, Terol (Sp) & Smith
World points table: 1. Corsi 34pts; 2.Bradi 29pts; 3.Terol 26pts

The 250cc catagory was on edge stuff with a surprise in the
last lap. Spanish rider ALVARO BAUTISTA was defending the
first position from Italian MARCO SIMONCELLI, when suddenly
Bautista´s motor broke which swayed the back end to see Marco
crash into the bike & cause both riders to fall & leave the race.

To Mika Kalio´s surprise he found himself the winner, with Mattia
Pasini second & Yuki Takahashi next to complete the podium.

Result: 1. Kalio; 2. Pasini; 3. Takahashi
World points table: 1.Pasini 45pts; 2.Kalio 41pts;
3. H.Barberá (Sp.)

In the GP catagory Spanish rider DANI PEDROSA ( above) ruled

from start to finish in an exhibition of perfect riding to take the

race & jump ahead in the World points table.
Yamaha riders Valentino Rossi & his Spanish teammate Jorge
Lorenzo came in 2ºnd & 3ºrd respectively.
Current World Champ, Casey Stoner had a terrible day on a track
that is not to his liking as he went out twice & finished 11th.

Result: 1. D.Pedrosa; 2.V.Rossi; 3. J.Lorenzo
World points table: 1. Pedrosa 41pts; 2. Lorenzo 36pts; 3. Rossi 27pts
