GETAFE visited AEK ATHENS & nearly finished with a victory,
until Aek Athens substitute BLANCO saved his side from defeat
with an equalizing goal in the 93rd min. Getafe played well under
the Greek fan pressure & finally scored in the 85th min via DE
LA RED. Getafe did not win, but are in a good position with the away
goal & home 2º leg advantage. Final Result 1-1
VILLAREAL froze in Russia & lost 1-0 to ZENITH ST. PETERSBURG
after a terrible mistake by Villareal defense & by goalkeeper Diego Lopez.
But Lopez is human, & saved his team numerous times from other chances
