SPANISH NATIONAL SQUAD LIST FOR FRANCE FRIENDLY. BOJAN, NAVARRO & ARBELOA CALLED UP

It was expected, BOJAN KRKIC ( below) could be the youngest
player in history, with 17 years of age, to make a debut with the
Spanish National A-Side, as he was today called up by Spanish National
Squad coach Luis Aragones to form part of the list of 22 players to face
FRANCE on the 6th of Febuary in Malaga (Spain) for a friendly
International game. Along with Bojan, NAVARRO & ARBELOA
(injuried)
are
called up for the first time, along with surprise Valencia
player ALBELDA who stays in the list contrary to being parted & not
playing
with Valencia.

(Bojan playing in the U/17 Spanish side)

Two definate messages here:
1. Get young Bojan on the field to close the door to Serbia in the future,
& seal the youngster for the Spanish national team
2. Let Valencia know that they made a mistake in parting Albelda from
the side, & that at least the national coach believes in him.

Here is the full list of the 22 players, with the new called up players in
black:

Atlético: Pablo
Arsenal: Cesc Fábregas
Barcelona: Iniesta, Xavi & Bojan
Betis: Juanito
Espanyol: Albert Riera, Luis García
Liverpool:Pepe Reina, Arbeloa, Xabi Alonso & Fernando Torres
Mallorca: Dani Güiza & Fernando Navarro
Real Madrid: Iker Casillas & Sergio Ramos

(Liverpool player Arbeloa (injuried) new inclusion in Spanish list)

News Flash - Arbeloa dropped out of the list due to injury. However,
coach Aragones call him up knowing he was injured. Strange indeed!
