without its young 17 year old FC Barcelona star BOJAN who
suffered pre-match dizziness. To add to the news Liverpool striker
FERNANDO TORRES ( below) injuried himself & the side did not
convience even though SPAIN defeated 1-0 FRANCE

Spain tried all night but could not find its game thanks to the
midfield wall of France - Viera, Lassuna & Diarra - that stopped
all the play making Spain could come up with.
Spain´s goalkeeper CASILLAS again was a protagonist with his
interventions specially from THIERRY HENRY who forgave
twice with two clear missed chances.

But the home ground support & France´s unusual laid back attitude
allowed a Spanish incursion in the corner take for defender CAPDEVILA
to score & give a "shy" victory to SPAIN in the 79th min.

Conclusion; a win is a win & specially if its over France, but the tension
was missing in the rival & Spain needs to better for the Euro 2008
competition. Tweet

I wasn't impressed at all with Spain's performance. Another uninspiring look at a team who is amazing on paper, but lacking on the pitch.
My take on the game:
