SFS gets out of its blogging area, Spanish Football & Spanish Sports,
after seeing this video of English Football player PAUL GASCOIGNE
on " Current TV" http://current.com
I´m a bit sad to see the man in such a state, from a strictly Football point
of view Gascoigne was an extremely talented player & could have reached
the top, had it not been for his "unstable" life. I think SFS can say in the
name of all Football followers that we wish you a quick recovery &
some long term health.

Couldn't sum it up better Striker.
Gascoigne has never been able to find contentment in his life - and never maximised his amazing talent.
Moving off-topic, has news of Eduardo da Silva's horrific leg-break made the sports news in Spain?

Hi T,
Yes, a shocking injury, it has moved everyone. But lets remain claim 6 allow the emotion to cool down. There should be a sanction , a heavy one at that, but its Football. We have seen this lots off times ... Goiko to Maradona, Salgado to Juninho, Stoichkov...
Nice to see you in.
Cheers
Thanks Striker. Respect the call to let emotions settle. But in a sense I want to remain aggrieved by this tackle and its catastrophic consequences - sometimes football needs a wake-up call and in England the culture of accepting reckless challenges as part of the game is one that needs to be looked at.
Agree with you T. Apparently latest news is that the injury is not as bad ( if one can say that) as originally thought. Good news!
Thanks for your positive comments & feedback
Cheers
Must be the alcohol issues.
