SPANISH FOOTBALL - LA LIGA - ROUND 15/ 2007 RESULTS

Lots of goals & a particularly tough Round 15 of "La Liga" with plenty
of rough play & red cards, apart from the usual dose of goals.

One of those tough games was ATLETICO DE MADRID´s 1-0 victory over
GETAFE with 4 red cards. Before the game got started one of the red

card "victims" SERGIO AGUERO received the "Golden Boy Award" for
the Best U/21 player in the World for 2007.

DIEGO FORLAN managed Atletico´s only goal in the 19th min, &
from them on it become a rough affair until the end with Red Cards

going to Aguero & Reyes for Atletico & Licht & Abbondazieri for
Getafe. It was a strange match with Atletico lucky to win the 3 points
as their defence is still full of holes, however a win is a win & Atletico

get into Champions League zone.

REAL MADRID defeated an average ATHLETIC DE BILBAO away
with a 0-1 scoreline thanks to the VAN NISTELROOY "cracker" in the
54th min & goalkeeper IKER CASILLAS saves. Real played well &
concentrated &
managed to keep the leaders spot for another week.
See below the VIDEO
of the Van Nistelrooy goal:

OSASUNA
& VALENCIA CF played a boring 0-0 draw with its

fair share of tough play as seen above.

RACING
continue on their merry way & are in Uefa positions after

winning 3-1 MALLORCA. Mallorca scored 1st via WEBO in the 11th
min, but was "overrun" with 3 goals from J.LOPEZ ( 18th m &
pictured above), DUSCHER (29th) & MUNITIS ( 83rd).

LUIS FABIANO ( pictured above) was the protagonist in SEVILLA
FC 3-1
victory over MURCIA with his 2º goals ( 4th & 91st min) along

with his teammate MARESCA adding the teams 3rd. For Murcia BAIANO
tried hard with his teams only score in the 65th min

RECREATIVO won LEVANTE 0-2 with goals from CAMUÑAS
( pictured above) &
J.VAZQUEZ

Shock defeat for VILLAREAL at the hands of REAL BETIS with CAPI´s
(pictured above) only goal doing the job & giving Betis some oxygen at
the bottom of the table, after sacking coach Cuper last week.

Goal of the round ( pictured ) by NEGREDO in the 75th min to give
his side ALMERIA a 1-0 victory over VALLADOLID

Fantastic game between ZARAGOZA & ESPANYOL which finished
in a Zaragoza comeback & a 3-3 draw. Real Zaragoza´s Brazilian forward
OLIVEIRA was the heroe with 2º goals ( 85th & 89th min) to
equalize, along with teammate DIEGO MILITO´s 5th min goal.
Espanyol started well with a goal from TAMUDO in the 7th min
which was followed in the 10th min by VALDO & ZUBALETA in
the 19th.

FC BARCELONA
managed to defeated
DEPORTIVO 2-1 at home.

Deportivo shocked early with a "cracker" from CRISTIAN ( pictured
above celebrating), but RONALDINHO, back in the starting line - up
equalized via a penalty in the 40th min.

ETO´O was also back & played well until he was changed for young
Bojan.

The winner came in the 70th min when XAVI scored a well taken
opportunistic moment.
