SPANISH FOOTBALL - "LA LIGA" - ROUND 14 2007/08 SUNDAY GAMES RESULTS

Big round of Spanish Football with a good dose of goals & some eye brow
lifting results, with Atletico winning, Villareal losing, Getafe with a
comeback, Zaragoza still going in reverse...etc.
























REAL BETIS sink further after ATLETICO DE MADRID won 0-2,
however good news for Atletico, with 3 points Atletico goes into
Champions positions on the table.
The first goal for Atletico came in the 33rd min thanks to DIEGO FORLAN
(pictured above) with the second & final goal coming in on extra time thanks
to RAUL GARCIA in the 92nd min.








VILLAREAL fell away with a surprise 0-2 loss to a good VALLADOLID
side. It´s difficult for any team to keep up the pressure on maintaining itself
on the high end of the ladder, & today Villareal felt the tension.

Valladolid scored twice thanks to LLORENTE in the 18min & VICTOR in
the 56th min.















The two goals from CARLOS MARTINS ( pictured above ) gave
RECREATIVO a 2-1 victory over ZARAGOZA, who are stuck in
a hole that they just cant get out at the moment.
Zaragoza´s only goal come in the 21st min thanks to DIEGO
MILITO
















DEPORTIVO lost to OSASUNA in a tough game with the scoreline
1-2, with goals from PLASIL in the 46th min & the winner again from
DADY in the 88th min.
Deportivo managed to score via CASTRO before Osasuna´s winner in
the 83rd min. Deportivo are in a worrying state & havouring around the
bottom of the ladder danger zone.
















REAL MURCIA allowed MALLORCA to draw 1-1. After taking the
lead via IÑIGO in the 23rd, Mallorca caught them sleeping in the
68th min when WEBO ( above celebrating) scored the equalizer. A
just result!

















GETAFE made a grand comeback to win 2-1 LEVANTE, who´s
only goal came once again from in form player RIGA (pictured
above)
The heroe for Getafe was BRAULIO ( pictured below) who scored
twice; the first in the 60th min & the second in the 89th min

More troubles for VALENCIA CF after being steam-rolled at home by
ATHLETIC DE BILBAO 0-3. Bilbao scored first via YESTE ( pictured
below) in the 32nd min.
The 2º half was all Bilbao, with two more goals coming in the 60th &
91st min via LLORENTE.
Long faces tonight in the Valencia camp!
