SPANISH FOOTBALL - LA LIGA - ROUND 12/ 2007 SUNDAY GAMES RESULT

Fabulous games played in Round 12 of "La Liga" with Real Madrid
keeping at bay a stubborn & excellent Mallorca, Villareal proving to
be the revelation side for this season after defeating Sevilla in a
controversial game, Espanyol also proving to be in fine form with a
lucky last minute win over At.Bilbao & Real Betis along with Recreativo
gaining breathing space for another week.
























This young Brazilian turned on the magic to lead his side REAL MADRID
to a 4 -3 victory over a very determined & well played MALLORCA
side.
ROBINHO ( pictured) drove the defence crazy & scored 2 goals ( 11th &
16th min) & set up the 3º goal for RAUL in the 62th min.



















It was a see-saw game with Mallorca answering back with goals
& this man VARELA ( pictured) scoring twice to put back on even
terms his side in the 13th & 36th min. His teammate GUIZA kept
his goal scoring run with an equalizer in the 57th.

















However, in the 72th min VAN NISTELROOY scored Real´s winner
after recieving a Raul pass, & thus giving his team the 3 points &
maintaining them in top spot on the ladder for another week.

RAUL TAMUDO ( pictured) scored again & ESPANYOL keep winning
& are currently 5th on the ladder after defeating ATLETIC DE BILBAO

in the last minute & thanks to an own goal by AITOR OCIO. At.Bilbao
started well in the 2nd min with a GABILONDO goal, but in the end
lost
2-1



















VILLAREAL are 1 point behind league leaders Real Madrid & are
currently the revelation side. They defeated 3- 2 a SEVILLA FC
side that played fantastically & never gave in, although they went
down to 10 men with ALVES recieving the the Red Card ( 2 yellows) &

giving a penalty away.

Mexican International GUILLE FRANCO ( above ) was inspired &
scored 2º goals ( 30th & 67th min)


















KANOUTE also fought hard along with LUIS FABIANO who both
scored in the 34th & 49th min respectively.
But the winner came in the 85th min thanks to Villareal´s Chilean
International
MATIAS FERNANDEZ


Villareal Captain MARCOS SENNA ( pictured below) proved why
National coach Luis Aragones recalled him for the upcoming games
against Sweden & Nth Ireland. Excellent game in the midfield & is in real
fine form.
