SPANISH CUP: FINAL 32 TEAMS. TUESDAY GAMES RESULTS

The SPANISH CUP has entered into the final 32 team stage, were
the big 1º Division teams make their appearance & face the tough
lower sides.
Here the beautiful play & skill gets equalized by the practical &
straight to the point football of the lower division sides, thus creating
many surprise results & early knock outs of bigger named teams.
Tonight 6 teams played the away leg , with the rest of the teams playing
tomorrow.

FC BARCELONA played 2º Division B side ALCOYANO away &
finally won 0-3 to virtually wrap up the tie. It was a tough & "dirty"
affair that saw hard tackles, so much so, that Barça´s young Giovanni
was injuried in the 54th min, a penalty & Red Card given to Alcoyano
player Carrion.

THIERRY HENRY scored first from a Xavi pass in the 24th min, & after
a rugged time, GUDJOHNSON scored the 2º via a penalty & BOJAN the
3º in the 94th min.

The other games saw a lucky SEVILLA FC draw away to DENIA
1-1. CHEVANTON scored 1º for Sevilla in the 75th min, but Denia
reacted immediately to equalize via PABLO VIDAL 1º min later.
The return match will decide the outcome.

Lastly HERCULES let ATLETIC DE BILBAO off the hook in the last
15 mins , after leading by 2 goals when LLERA scored in the 9th min &
CAMARA the 2º in the 36th min. It looked like Atletic were heading for
defeat when LLORENTE scored in the 72th & DEL HORNO in the 77th.
End result 2-2 with a very lucky At.Bilbao which survives to fight
another day
