According to cited paper, Portugues International QUARESMA is trying
to "break" the agreement that his agent has with Atletico as a 1ยบ option
buy. The day after Atletico President Cerezo announced that Quaresma
was still a possibility for the team, the player ( apparently) has said to his
Portugues team mates & his agents that he wishes to go & play for REAL
MADRID.
This is an ongoing "yes, no, deal off, deal on, agreement, break agreement..."
saga that, quite frankly, is becoming boring & Atletico should move on, in SFS
humble opinion.

A player that is being followed & is liked by Atletico officials is AJAX OF
AMSTERDAM´s versatile defender JOHN HEITINGA. Atletico are really
concerned about their defence & wish to improve this position.
Also on their list of positions to strenghten is the goalkeeping area ( Liverpool´s
Reina is liked , but will be difficult & Getafe´s young Argentine Ustari is
