FORMULA 1: CHINA GP - HAMILTON ABANDONS & KEEPS ALIVE ALONSO´S CHANCES

The stage was set for Lewis Hamilton to claim this years Formula 1
World Championship; with "pole" & a clean race, it was a odds -on
possibility. However, the weather & his lack of experience cost him
dearly, forcing a "childish" mistake that forced him to abandon the race
& allow arch rival & teammate FERNANDO ALONSO to close the points

gap by only 4 points.
The current & 2 time World Champ, Fernando Alonso, finished 2º behind
winner RAIKKONEN & infront of 3ºrd placed FELIPE MASSA.

The race unraved everyone with wet & dry conditions that made many
take unnecesary risks, as in the case of Hamilton, who entered into a
battle with Raikkon for front position which "destroyed" his tyres.
Entering boxes to change rubbers, he slid into the graval & could not
get out, thus forcing his withdrawl. See the VIDEO below:

Now evrything goes down to the next & final race in the BRAZIL GP,
where Alonso could take the title if he wins & Hamilton comes in 3rd,

plus Raikkonen also has options to grab the title but relies on more
variables. A nearly impossible task, Alonso admits in the post -race
media interview but as the saying goes..." its not over until the fat
lady sings". Emotional finish!

Championship points:
1. Hamilton 107pts; 2.Alonso 103pts; 3. Raikkonen 100pts; 4. Massa 89pts
