You may say:..."who cares about history, what´s important is that
Spain win tomorrow & maintain alive its chances for Euro 2008
qualification". Agree, however allow SFS to at least highlight
the fact that out of 15 meetings, Spain has won 10 & drawn 3, with
Denmark only winning 2. Something is something , right guys?
The most memorable win for Spain was in the Mexico 1986 World
Cup, where they defeated the "best side in Denmark´s history" 6-1
in a game where Spain went on to the Q/Finals.
This match placed the then Real Madrid forward EMILIO
BUTRAGEÑO ( pictured above) into Spanish Football history with
his 4 goals.

SFS has a feeling that history is not going to be enough this time.
Lets hope, truely, that SFS is wrong, but the "bad" feeling in the
current Spanish squad, the Raul debate, the pressure on coach Luis
Aragones & the Danish home advantage will tip the balance & give the
victory ( or a draw, which is not in Spain´s interest) to Denmark. SFS
will be cheering on Spain, of course & without any doubt, regardless of
its logic. Lets face it, Football is heart & not mind.
