CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2007:STUTTGART 0 - FC BARCELONA 2 & SEVILLA FC 4-SLAVIA PRAGA 2

Good night for both Spanish teams in their respective Champions
League Group games.
FC BARCELONA defeated away 0-2 German side
STUTTGART
in Group E & are leaders. Whlie the other game was SEVILLA FC
at home against
SLAVIA PRAGA & won 4-2 in Group H.

The Barça victory was costly for the Catalans, as they lost Marquez
in the early moments to an injury & then later lost his replacement &
the 1º goalscorer Puyol in the 2º half to another injury.

The game was wide open with end to end play & both goalkeepers making
extraordinary saves in the 1º half to keep their teams alive.

However, the 2º half we saw a more determined Barça with great plays from
Ronaldinho, Deco & Henry, & PUYOL scored first in the 53min. Barça
took control & MESSI scored the 2º goal in the 66th min. Could have gone
anyway, but the determination & the great skill of the Barça players tipped
the balance.
