Champions League continues tonight with the last two Spanish
representatives, Real Madrid & Valencia, in action in Group C
& Group B respectively.
(thanks to "Mundo Deportivo")
REAL MADRID visit LAZIO at Rome for their Group C clash
were Real Madrid are "favourites". Real wishes to win this game
& thus allow them to face the rest of their European games
with a sense of "ease". In Champions, the loss of games sets in the
"nerves" factor that hurts in the later stages. A win here would place
Real with 6 points & the leaders position in the group.
Possible line-ups:
Lazio: Ballota; Behrami, Stendardo, Cribari, Zauri; Mudingayi,
Ledesma, Mauri; Manfredini; Rocchi or Pandev & Makinwa.
Real Madrid: Casillas; Salgado, Sergio Ramos, Cannavaro,
Heinze; Higuaín, Diarra, Sneijer, Guti; Raúl & Van Nistelrooy.
VALENCIA CF wish to keep on with its winning run, & meet
English side CHELSEA FC, which is going through a "rough
patch" in its local competition. Added to this, the departure of
its coach Jose Mourinho has unsettled the side with a sense of
"confusion".
Valencia wishes to capitalize on the situation & grab the valuable
3 points . Promises to be an exciting clash.
Possible-lineups:
Valencia CF: Hildebrand, Miguel, Albiol, Helguera, Moretti, Joaquín,
Albelda, Marchena, Silva, Morientes & Villa
Chelsea FC: Cech, Belleti, Ben Haim, Terry or Alex, Ashley Cole,
Joe Cole, Makelele, Essien, Kalou, Shevchenko & Drogba
