UEFA CUP: ATLETICO DE MADRID, VILLAREAL & GETAFE WIN, BUT ZARAGOZA GO LOSE

Spanish teams managed 3 out of 4 tonight as they began the long
road towards UEFA CUP glory in the 1º round games.

ATLETICO DE MADRID had a fantastic night & gave their long
"suffering fans" joy after defeating Turkish side KAYSERI
ERCIYESSPOR 4-0 at home.This virtually assures the leg victory &
gives them a place in the Groups phase.
MISTA ( pictured) openned the scoring.

DIEGO FORLAN got back in action at doing what he does best,
that is, scoring the 2º goal.

LUIS GARCIA than turned on the magic in the last 10 min by
scoring twice.
Great match , lets hope they can take in all into the local competition.

at the hands of Greek club ARIS OF SALONICA 1-0 . The goal come

Zaragoza had a rough night without any luck & missed chances. They
have a slim chance to get back into things in the return leg at home,
although it will be tough.
