trainning of its current inform Dutch International WESLEY
SNEIJDER, who may miss the 3º Round game of "La Liga" against
Almeria.
Sneijder accidently recieved a hard tackle by teammate Mario Melchiot
at trainning with the Dutch National team.
With this in mind FC BARCELONA President Joan Laporta lashed out
heavily against FIFA concerning his International players, who are
currently on duty with their countries with friendly matches;some examples
are Messi & Milito with Argentina against Australia, & Ronaldinho for
Brazil against the USA yesterday.
Laporta cannot understand why Barça should have to suffer the loss of
its star players in "non-relevent" friendly games & have his stars risk
serious injury & long travelling hours which affect directly their "Liga"
& European Club competition activities.
This is an ongoing issue with Real Madrid, AC Milan & others joining in
with Barça & expressing the same arguements & discontent.
Apart from the above, which is serious, they are very happy at Barça with
Ronaldinho´s form, as he was outstanding against USA yesterday. As the below
cartoon from "Mundo Deportivo´s Pelotazos section" shows, a happy
Ronaldinho saying ( translated ): " This season I´m back to my best again"...
"In the national side I´ve even regained my number 10". At Camp Barca
they hope that the happy Brazilian will translate it all in goals, & victories
locally & in Europe.

at the end of the day it has to be down to the players - if they want to play friendly international games then they will
