their particular quest for European glory In the Champions League
competition.
FC BARCELONA defeated OLYMPIQUE DE LYON 3-0 to grab its
first 3 points in Group E
The French team is considered a direct rival & it was important for
Barça to start well. They took the game into the Lyon area & pressured
heavily the defence. The French defended well until Barça got onto the
scoreline 1º due to an unlucky own goal by CLERC.
The 2º half saw Barça continue to pressure with a superb MESSI running
riot. The Argentine was rewarded in the 81st minute with a goal, which
was followed by another in the 90mt by HENRY.
Good result that should give Barça plenty of confidence.

to an inspired ARSENAL.
