UEFA CUP DRAW: SPANISH TEAMS KNOW THEIR OPPONENTS

Spanish teams Real Zaragoza, Villareal, Getafe, At.Madrid &
Sevilla FC ( if they do not qualify for Champions) all know
their opponents for the UEFA Cup, after the draw held in Monaco
earlier today.
On paper Zaragoza & Getafe got the tougher teams, & puts it difficult
for them to secure their place & go through into the Uefa "little
leagues" qualifiers.

Here is the draw:

Real Zaragoza - Aris de Salonica
1º game : 20 Sept. at Greece

Villareal - BATE Borison (BELR)
1º game: 20 Sept. at Spain

Getafe - Twente (HOL)
1º game: 20 Sept. at Spain

At.Madrid - Kayseri Erciyesspor (TUR)
1º game: 20 Sept. at Spain

Sevilla FC ( if they do not qualify for Champions) - Salzborg

Just a note from SFS ( cannot help myself), great to see Atletico de
Madrid in a post making reference to European Football competition.

Striker: what's the news with the Mediapro lawsuit? Any idea when we'll be able to watch our favorite teams here in the states? I hope not too long - this is killing me.

Big issue...Mediapro has won the first round & can show games - free! via local TV channel "La Sexta"...however it smells like its going to take sometime to settle.

John, Mediapro has banned Sogecable from transmitting Barça or Real Madrid games on their pay tv.

The only place to watch them is via "their" public TV station here in Spain - "La Sexta" for free.

This continues to change everyday.
