comfortably & wake up with 3 transfer moves, & not just any moves.
Started yesterday with the surprise announcement that REAL MADRID
has signned Man Utd. player Gabriel Heinze, & this morning we get
confirmation that the following deal have been shut:
(1) ARJEN ROBBEN: REAL MADRID & CHELSEA FC have shut the
transfer of the 23 year old Dutch International winger for a price of 36
M€. The "saga" finally ends & Real get their man who will no doubt be
presented within the next hours.
(2) JULIANO BELLETI: CHELSEA FC have invested some of its
new cash & signned the FC BARCELONA Brazilian right-defender
for an economical 5, 5 M€. This obviously shuts the door to Sevilla FC
player Dani Alves.
(3) CICINHO: with some many new players, REAL MADRID began
its "spring cleaning" & transferred the Brazilian right-back to AC
ROMA for between 8-9M€. The player will earn 2M€/year in his
new 5 year contract with the Italian team.
With all storys there is a REAL loser in all this: DANIEL ALVES.
Stay tuned on the Alves front, it smells of a last minute transfer BOMB.
Where?

Quite sad to see cicinho go - at his best he was quite a force at Real - he also represented a right midfield option.
For all the fuss that has been made regarding the left side of midfield, I am still scratching my head regarding the right side - in particular, I dont get Higuian as a right sided midfielder, for me it has to be Robinho there.
Thats true. The only players who plays right midfield are Balboa and Robinho. Higuain is more of a forward then a right midfielder
Yeah, I think Robinho and Balboa are more than up to the challenge at right wing. I'd also be interested to see what would happen if Drenthe played left, Robben played right, and Robinho sat up front with Ruud. Zazinho was right a couple of posts back - the squad has great depth now, we've covered all of the positions and now we need to see who works best where. The spot on the field that I have the most questions about is Center mid. Guti Diarra? Diarra Sneijder? Guti Raul?
What about a 4-5-1, with Ruud up front, Drenthe, Guti, Diarra, De la Red, and Robinho in the middle, rotating in Raul, Baptista, Sneijder, Robben, and Gago throughout the season?
