SPANISH FOOTBALL . YOUNGSTERS THAT ARE ATTRACTING ATTENTION

Spanish daily "Marca" has given this brief rundown for its readers
on the "youngsters" that are attracting the attention of the big
Spanish Clubs this new season. All 6 mentioned below are currently
involved in tough tug-of-wars between their local clubs & Spanish
"Liga" teams.













RICARDO QUARESMA : Oporto 24 years of age. Wanted by
Atletico & Real Madrid. His club & the player asks for amounts too
high for the Spanish clubs liking. His club has recently ruled out his
transfer., could be strategic. Stay tuned for developments

DANIEL ALVES: Sevilla FC 24 years old. Possibly the best right - back
in the World today. Wanted by Real Madrid, FC Barcelona & Chelsea FC.
Sevilla reluctant to let go, except for a HUGE offer.

ARJEN ROBBEN: Chelsea 24 years old. Very close to signning with Real
Madrid, 7M€ separates the opeartion. Real pays 21M€ & Chelsea wishes 28
M€. The deal may be shut for 24-25M€, negotiations are tough & could be
solved very soon.

WESLEY SNEIJDER. Ajax of Amsterdam 23 years old. Valencia CF tried
hard, but now Real Madrid has set its eyes on the player. Chosen to fill the
midfield after Arsenal Cesc Fabregas said no to Real. Stay tuned!

ROYSTON DRENTHE: Feyenoord 20 years old. The Pearl of Dutch football,
Real Madrid & Feyenoord have agreement, but now his club asks for more, from
8 to 10M€. Player has to decide, but sources say he is delighted. Could be an
announcement soon. Fc Barcelona is said to be in there & "interfering" with the
negotiations.

LUCHO GONZALEZ: Oporto 26 years, the oldest. Argentine International
wanted by Valencia CF & in very tough negotiations with his Portugues team.
