SPANISH FOOTBALL NEWS, TRANSFER RUMOURS & GOSSIP

Here is a quick tour of the "top" stories racing around the Footy
papers today in Spain.

Although REAL MADRID & Chelsea
player ROBBEN have an agreement,
his team is´nt making it easy for him
to join Real.

Chelsea seems not to count with the
Dutchmen, if we take the fact that he
is not participating at all in the teams
warm up games. But, Chelsea is taking
advantage of Real Madrid´s desire &
is continually lifting the transfer price.

It is now said to be ( according to "Mundo
Deportivo") around 35M€. Real comments
that they hope to solve the situation soon.

Staying at REAL MADRID, there maybe a
solution for its huge problem with Italian player
CASSANO - who is not wanted & may take the
club to court for "mobbing".

INTER MILAN maybe about to offer a "swap
deal" to Real that would be SOLARI for Cassano,
according to "Marca". Stay tuned!

Russian club, KAZAN, has made a big offer to
GETAFE forward DANI GUIZA. Its a 4 year
contract worth 8M€, that is, 2M€/season
according to "Marca"

It seems his club Getafe is in accord with
Kazan, as they will recieve 4.5M€.

Now its up to Guiza to accept or not.

Bulgarian winger & current
ATLETICO DE
MADRID
player MARTIN PETROV is in
Manchester & will undergo medical checks.

If all goes well, he will become the new
signning for Premier League & local club
MANCHESTER CITY

News Flash - Confirmed. Petrov is new player
of Manchester City

Continuing at ATLETICO DE MADRID, they are preparing their
important return INTERTOTO game against Rumanian side GLORIA
BISTRITA.
The result of the 1ยบ leg away game went against Atletico 2-1 & they must
win at home this weekend if they are to enter Europe; vital for their whole
proyect. The good note is that they just need to win 1-0 to achieve that
objetive.

To secure things, it seems coach Aguirre will bring in the top guns:
Forlan, Sergio Aguero, Jurado & Pablo into the line up. If that is so,
the team may go out to play as follows:

Franco, Seitaridis, Pablo, Perea, A.Lopez, Jurado, Luccin, Maniche,
Maxi Rodriguez, Aguero & Forlan

If Atletico don´t qualify with this line up their new season prospects
will look pretty bad. Good luck boys & go for it!

I knew it! Wow, it's hard to believe you put up with all this Real Madrid chatter and praise, Striker!

You must have been sad to see Torres go; despite the fact he was an Atleti, I'm always sad to see a talent like that leave Spain. I hope he finds Anfield a good home. Good luck to your team in the second leg!
