along with ARSENAL & LIVERPOOL to try to secure the services
of ATLETICO DE MADRID young star striker FERNANDO TORRES
Liverpool started things with its offer early last week & now may put its
French forward DJIBRIL CISSÉ in a bargainning card. Atletico is
interested however in Villareal´s Forlan to substitute Torres if he leaves,
however Cissé is young & cheaper, & hope to convience Atletico.
In SFS opinion, it would be a grave mistake to accept Cissé in a
Torres operation, as the French is considered ( humble opinion)
to be an ordinary player. SFS doubts that he will adapt to Spanish
Football & as alraedy said, its almost an "insult" to place this type
of player in an operation with Torres.
Arsenal have an ace that may sway Atletico & that is José Antonio
Reyes, & Manchester Utd has the prestige & money.
Lastly, & most important, the player must wish to leave & that is´nt
at all clear as we have´nt as yet heard or seen the player announce his
