they lost?
Ok, they did the job & grabbed the 3 points, but only 2 goals?
Perhaps SFS cannot ask for more, this is what it is. If thats so, Spain
have a job ahead of themselves, even if they are 2º , behind Sweden,
in Group F after tonights result
DAVID VILLA scored both goals. The 1º a basic get around goalkeeper
& score, & the 2º ( see below) a spectacular overhead kick, that if it would
have been against a stronger side, it would be flying around "You Tube" as
one of the goals of this season.
But the feeling of "not enough" showed itself in reality, when in the final
minutes of play , David Villa missed a penalty opportunity , followed by a
save by the goalkeeper from Joaquin. In a nutshell, a walk in the park, that
left an empty & disappointing feeling.
Special mention to SERGIO RAMOS who put in a splendid
game with lots of running, shots, headers & heart.
Next game after this summer & if things go well ( ie Spain
dont lose) the big deciding game will be against Sweden, to
put things in their true place in Group F , that is, if Nth Ireland
dont have a say, of course. Tweet

As much as I admire Xabi, what will it take for the Mikel Arteta to break through into the international squad.
He received Player of the Season Award 2 years in a row at Everton. And is rated one of the best Mid fielders in the Premiership based on OPTA stats.
Totally agree with you on this point.
I suppose it boils down to selectors choice.
Nice to have your comments, hope to see you back
Cheers
Striker, I know both wins were extremely lucky and poor. But we needed these 6 points and I am satisfied. We gotta win good, bad, ugly, or dirty.
Aupa España!
