Tomorrow at "Hampton Park" Glasgow ( pictured below) the
Final of the UEFA CUP 2006/07 will be played at 20.45 (Sp.
Time) between 2 Spanish Teams.
The defending Uefa Champions SEVILLE FC will meet ESPANYOL
in front of a packed ground full of local & Spanish fans.
Seville FC go in as favourites & that suits Espanyol who prefer
the underdog tag & less pressure. In the local Spanish
competition Seville is currently 3rd & also finalist for the Spanish
Cup, while Espanyol are 12th & hungry to win its 1º ever UEFA.
Two sides with some excellent players to keep an eye out for:
Seville - Daniel Alves, Kanoute, Navas, Fabiano & Palop
Espanyol - Tamudo, Luis Garcia, De La Peña, Rufete & Padiani.

Local daily "elmundo.com" give us the courtesy of their pictures &
possible line ups for tomorrows Uefa Cup final. As we can see, 2 great
teams with some extraordinary players on the field.
Speaking of extraordinary players, one to keep an eye on is
WALTER PANDIANI, Uruguayian & ESPANYOL forward
who is currently leading the UEFA 2006/07 competition as
the maximum goal scorer with 11 goals.
Pandiani comes into this final in form after scoring a "hat-trick"
last Sunday against Real Madrid. Seville´s defence must keep
him under control & not allow the striker space to operate.
Heres a VIDEO of Pandiani in action ( Note: allow the video to
load some time)
Here is the UEFA Cup current goalscorer table:
11 goals: Walter Pandiani (Espanyol)
8 goals: Claudiu Niculescu (Dinamo Bucarest)
7 goals: Shota Arveladze (AZ Alkmaar), Dimitar Berbatov
(Tottenham Hotspur) & Jan Klaas Huntelaar (Ajax).
6 goals: Luis García (Espanyol) & Obafemi Martins
(Newcastle United).
5 goals: Cristiano Lucarelli (Livorno), Tim Matthys (Zulte
Waregem), Robbie Keane (Tottenham Hotspur), &
Pauleta (Paris Saint-Germain).
Its going to be a fantastic game tomorrow, well fought & tough
encounter. Any SFS reader brave enough to give a score ? If not,
a less dangerous deed, his/her opinion or comments?

Either team deserves to win it, but i'd like to see Espanyol take it due to their giant killing feats along the way.
