MANCHESTER UTD. coach Sir Alex Fergusen has not
forgotten "The Kid". According to English press & local
papers FERNANDO TORRES is a priority for next season
& Man Utd. will make a substantial effort ( > 40M€), plus
may include a player ( Saha ) to get the forward over to
"Old Trafford"
In SFS opinion, Torres may need to leave Atletico
in order to "grow" as a player.
Whats your thoughts?
Other clubs said to be following Torres are Liverpool &
Chelsea.
Radio Catalunya report that THIERRY HENRY is on
the FC BARCELONA agenda. According to the station
Barça President Joan Laporta made the comment in a
recent lunch ( translated to English) . "...I am currently
shutting the T.Henry deal".
This obviously could be just a rumour, SFS will keep a
close eye on developments.
Its official, Borussia Dortmund defender & 31 times German
International CRISTOPHE METZELDER has signed for 4
seasons for REAL MADRID.
Lastly, a cartoon with a good sense of humour from
"Sport". Basically Real Madrid depend on old rival ATLETICO
DE MADRID beat FC Barcelona in the soon to be played
"Liga" match in order to allow Real to grab the League Title.
Here, while Capello looks at the remaining fixture, President,
Ramos, Raul & Carlos support the old foe with chants. IRONIC!

I hope that Torres rumor is wrong! Saha has had a bad season at Utd: too many injuries! Too risky. If that's the best they can offer, then no thanks.
That's just my opinion, of course.
Torres has to leave Athletico for the sake of his own career. Loyalty is a good thing, but frankly he is damaging his saleability staying there
You have a point, but Saha, in my opinion, is rubbish. Atletico need a pacey, clinical, intelligent striker.
A striker that would be similar to Liverpool's Kuyt would fit Atleti.
I guess we'll have to wait and see! :)
Lena, your showing your RED & WHITE colours :-)
Cheers
Aupa Atleti!
When I was in Madrid last week I discovered my uncle played for Atleti under 21s for a short time (he also played for Real, but I knew about that already).
Sorry I just had to mention it :)
Don't get me wrong - if I were an Atletico supported I wouldn't want him to leave! He is still my favourite Spanish player right now, including Cesc, Iniesta and Villa.
It's because he is my favourite Spanish player that i want him to leave and get out there into the European cup games to fullfill his potential.
Terrible mistake of me to not mention Sergio Ramos as a future great hope for Spain - if there is one Spanish player I hold in higher regard than Torres, it's Ramos. In a few years either he or Cesc will captain Spain I expect.
Evo, perhaps Spain should sign you up as their next national coach :-)
Cheers
