MORE SPANISH NEWS TRANSFER BRIEFS & LA LIGA ROUND 35 FIXTURE

Quick round up of the interesting stories in todays sporting
papers, specially in the transfer rumour front, plus the fixture
of this weekends Round 35 of "La Liga"

FC BARCELONA striker SAMUEL ETO´O is back in the news.
This time its Italian TV ( "Telecinco") that spreads the news that
AC MILAN are willing to offer its foward GILARDINO in an operation
to get Eto´o over to Milan.
The Italians are willing to offer 20M€ + Gilardino. Barça say they know
nothing of the offer, although they do have Liverpool, Man Utd &
Chelsea bids to study.
SFS will keep an eye on developments.

News from "Mundo Deportivo" ( see front cover above), they say
that negotiations between FC BARCELONA & THIERRY HENRY
are "looking good" ( translated "PINTA BIEN"). If they come to

an agreement, Barça will make a formal bid to ARSENAL

This one surprised SFS a bit. VILLAREAL are in contact with
Frenchman & Chelsea midfielder CLAUDE MAKELELE. There is

a real chance that the player may say "yes". Apparently they are
talking right now!

Lastly, "Mundo Deportivo" comment that FC BARCELONA have
set their eyes on ROMA´s 23 year old Italian International
DANIELE DE ROSSI. With his high market price, Barça are thinking
of offering THIAGO MOTTA ( pictured above) in the package & thus

lower the price tag. The attractiveness of Motta is that, apart from a
good player, he has Italian citizenship.
