attracted 140.000 + crowd to roar on local heroe & current World
Champion Spaniard FERNANDO ALSONSO who qualified in the 2º
start position behind Brazilian Massa who was pole.

It was the start that decided the final outcome. Alonso went
for the 1º position after the start & risked touching Massa & devianting
to "swallow" the dirt ( as seen above) to luckily incorporate himself
back into the race, but falling in positions.
Raikkonen eliminated himself , & the positions were set until the end
of the race.
Race Result:
1. F . Massa (Bra)
2. L. Hamilton (UK)
3. F. Alonso ( Sp.)
Two observations from SFS, (a) Ferrari is still superior in speed over
McClaren & (b) Hamilton is beginning to take the light away from
Alonso. Lets hope this 2º point does not come into effect latter in the
season & play "mind games" with McClaren & Alonso´s head
Current World Title points standings after 4 races:
1 L.Hamilton 30pts

1 comment:
Alonso didn't look very happy at the press conference after the race.
What about Hamilton though? Can't believe this is his first season, he could be something really special
