FORMULA 1. FERNANDO ALONSO WINS THE MONACO GP 2007

Current & two time Spanish World Champion FERNANDO
ALONSO won this afternoon MONACO GP.
Alonso had managed to start from "pole" position & mantained
the lead throughout the race. As it is known, the Monaco circuit
is not friendly in the overtaking area, therefore barring accidents,
if you get out in front, it is difficult to be overtaken & thats how it
happened.

1. F. Alonso (Sp)
2. L.Hamilton (Uk)
3. F. Massa (Bra)

This win puts Alonso back on top of the Championship points
table on equal points with his teammate Hamilton. McClaren
also stay ahead of its rival in the constructors table with
76points compared to 56points for 2º placed Ferrari

3. F. Massa 33 points
4. K. Raikkonen 23points
