BAPTISTA for JOSE ANTONIO REYES.
Since then, both players have´nt exactly found the form in their new
clubs as seasons past, were they formed & built their reputations.
Added to this, Reyes has announced publically that he does not wish
to return to English Football nor Arsenal.
This has openned the door for ATLETICO DE MADRID to attempt
to lure the player.
Directives have approached representives to analize the possibilities
of getting Reyes to join Atletico next season; seeing that, it seems
Reyes does not enter Real Madrid´s plans for next season.
If Reyes agrees & Arsenal ok the operation, we may see this talented
player dressed Red & White in the 07/08 season. Stay tuned! Tweet

AS reports today that Reyes has been rejected by Atletico de Madrid because thay are happy with Petrov. ¿Sweet smell of vengeance (after Reyes declined their offer at the last possible minute) or simply a negotiation strategy?
According to reliable sources Celta´s Angel is closing his ties with Atletico de Madrid. As I wrote and predicted here some weeks ago (in a post against Luis)
Inclined to think its a strategic move, Petrov is no way as good as Reyes.
Angel - good player - will have to wait & see developments.
