A quick look around the important Spanish Sports press & SFS
highlights 4 interesting items for its International readers.
Most feature the important REAL MADRID - VALENCIA CF
clash tonight ( Round 31 game), mentioning the importance of
a win for both sides in their race to catch up to Barcelona & have a
real chance at the League title.
Both are currently 3º & 4º respectively with a single point
separating them, with the former 1 point behind Seville & 5
behind Barça.
Real recover GAGO & GUTI in the line- up & have Beckham,
Cicinho, Marcelo, Emerson...etc on the bench if needed.
Valencia will put up front the inform MORIENTES & VILLA who
has recovered from a training injury.
RAUL GONZALEZ plays his 600 official match today, a real
milestone.
Big match, lots to play for, a must win clash for both.
Seemed Valencia was favourite to grab OSASUNA midfielder
& Spanish International RAUL GARCIA with their 10M€
offer. However, after ex-Osasuna & now ATLETICO DE MADRID
coach AGUIRRE made it a condition to sign Garcia if he is to
continue, Atletico has gone on the offensive & is offering 14M€
plus a player ( Braulio or Arizmendi). Raul Garcia is now closer
to Atletico than Valencia.
SAMUEL ETO´O is again sounding in England, according to
"Mundo Deportivo". The departure of directive David Dein from
ARSENAL has angered many, specially THIERRY HENRY who
maybe looking for a way out of the club. This leaves an important
hole up front & Arsenal may go all out with a Super multi-
millionaire deal to lure Eto´o over to London.
The deal has to be BIG if its going to convience the player, seeing
that for the moment, Eto´o has no intention of moving & others
like Chelsea, Man .Utd, Milan, Inter & even Real Madrid are always
flying above awaiting to pounce.
Another Barça player is in the
transfer news press.
GUDJOHNSEN is being followed
seriously by CELTIC GLASGOW,
who are about to win the Scottish
League. The player is thought
as ideal for its forward line next
season & the Scots will make a
strong offer.
However, Gudjohnsen is also on
the MAN.UTD list of possible
signings for next season. He is
seen as ideal to complement
Ronaldo & Rooney up front.
SFS will keep an eye on developments.
Lastly, big weekend for our Spanish Sportsmen with GP Moto
riders in action in Istambul & our Tennis players at Monte Carlo.
Surf into SFS late tonight for the results, images & scorers of
tonights "Liga" games.

Eto'o and Arsenal - a match made in hell?
I can't see the big ego man fitting in at all well let alone being a replacement for the striker who has set the example for so many young players.
Not convinced they could afford him let alone keep his personality in check.
