Two games played yesterday in round 30 of the Spanish
League.

The first was the important RACING vs REAL MADRID

clash between this seasons surprise & inform side & Real
who had the chance to "provisionally" take top spot of the
ladder.
The final outcome 2-1 in Racing´s favour, sank Real´s hopes

& sets it back seriously in its title aspirations. RAUL put his
team in front early & it seemed Real were on their way , back
the last 20mins saw GARAY score twice via penalties & give
Racing the match.

Controversial game with disputed penalty decisions, were Real
are very critical & claim that the decisions were bias by calling
the free kicks in the area in favour of Racing.

The sick relapsed.

As predicted Racing was a tough game for Real Madrid. And Capello shouldn’t blame the referee. He should blame himself. For the team’s attitude in the second half while leading 0-1. For his mistakes in making substitutions. For keeping Van Nistelrooy in the field, who was slow, late to key plays and totally ineffective. And if he has no substitute for him, he’s the only one to be blamed. He’s rejected Soldado, Portillo and ¡Ronaldo!

Going back to the referee we should remember that he forgave Sergio Ramos´ second yellow card at the end of the first half. Same with Cannavaro (second half) Of course that the referee made mistakes. Affecting both sides. The difference is that Capello’s mistakes led to defeat. And he’s the first to be blamed.

i still feel the first penalty was a joke. come on! Scaloni isnt like a great actor either ;)..

It would be great if Barça & Selliva drop points today :)

True but the refree should be a bit more smart than that i mean that penalty. I know it is a hard job. I am a refree too. you can only give penaltys if u are sure that it was a foul. it looked like he didnt clearly see it. all he saw was the dive. And I agree that Capello is to be blamed for the loss.

Real deserved to win, but they blew it.
I'm not convinced it's all Capello's fault, clearly the players sat back when they had the chance to finish the game. I agree Capello plays a certain kind of football and I can see why it's not popular, but I have no issue with his substitutions. There's no way i would ever take Nistelrooy off, even if he were having a bad game. Remember he's scored something like 15 goals this season with really poor service. Now Raul on the other hand - he has been poor this season...again. probably won't make me popular with some Real fans, but I suggest a move to Liverpool for our captain - let Higuain play how he is suposed to.

Incidentally, I thought Diarra looked completely in charge of the midfield, first time in a long time.

Evo did we watch the same game? I'm asking in ref. to the substitutions issue. On my TV screen Emerson was injured and limped for the last 15 minutes. And my TV screen seems to agree with the press and radio reports I've read and heard. Plus if you replace forwards with defensive players the message you are sending is, to say the least, conservative. Cagón we call it down here (like in “you shit in your pants”)

The great Don Alfredo also agrees with me (Source: Today’s news at Telemadrid)
