CRISTIANO RONADO - REAL MADRID NEWS & "LA LIGA" ROUND 30 FIXTURE

The CRISTIANO RONALDO saga seems to have finished.
Manchester Utd has announced that the player has RENEWED

his contract with the club until 2012.
So it seems that he is NOT going to Real Madrid, Fc Barcelona or
anywhere else.

However, as with everything connected with REAL MADRID,
a new twist. Just when everyone thought that
BERND
SCHUSTER
would be the next coach of Real Madrid, a new
player comes into the picture:
JOSE MOURINHO.

Close friends & media inform that Mourinho wishes to leave
Chelsea on a high note ( Champions title or League) & train
Real Madrid; a dream & top priority.

Schuster has today said to Portugues media that he has no pre-
agreement with Real & that Mourinho is in the "driving seat"

at the moment for the job. Stay tuned!

If your a Real fan: Who is your choice?

My prediction has been Mourinho for a while now, although maybe there will be an England manager job going he would like to take.
As a Real fan I would have preferred Benitez, but that ain't gonna happen. The trouble with Mourinho is this stupid mind game stuff he plays with the press - it is very annoying. He is a great manager of players and big egos, so he fits what Real need. I have no doubt he will be popular with the fans.

One other thing on Ronaldo - I know I'm biased and perhaps just wishful thinking, but......lots of players have signed a long term deal only to move to another clubs weeks afterwards. This might not be a done deal :)

Agree with you Evo, in football nothing is set in stone. Thanks for your excellent contributions.
Cheers

As far as I’m concerned the keys are still the player’s will and the money to be paid to his current club. Now and before this renewal. Any club wishing to sign him, now and before, have to deal with MU and CR. The only thing that has changed, after his contract renewal with MU, is his salary. Which leads to this question: When will the raise be effective? In other words, this transfer is now more expensive, salary wise, after this renewal.

In related news AS reports a meeting between Mendes (CR’s rep.) and Franco Baldini (Mijatovic’s right hand) in which Mendes offered Real Madrid a Ronaldo/Mourinho pack. Since he also reps Chelsea’s coach. It may be possible that CR’s renewal has been motivated by RM’s negative to sign Mou. Which leads me to another question: Was this pack also offered to Barcelona?

I am a Real Madrid fan and my choice of coach would be Del Bosque. but if not then Schuster is better than Mourinho. Mourinho is a great coach but he has a bad personality. Id rather have Capello then Mourinho
