BASKETBALL. REAL MADRID WINS THE ULEB TROPHY

REAL MADRID has defeated LIETUVOS RYTAS in the final
of the ULEB Cup, one of the 2º European titles up for grabs.
They defeated the Lituanians 75 - 87 in a tough final that finally
gave Real the title/cup missing on its prestigious trophy shelf.

Real team effort with Charles Smith scoring 19 points &
Louis Bullock another 16 points to lead the Spaniards
onto victory. Special mention as well to the defensive play

that was vital in order to halt the rivals continous attacks
