SPANISH FOOTBALL - "LA LIGA" HEATS UP - ROUND 25 SATURDAY GAMES

SEVILLE has defeated FC BARCELONA 2-1 & VALENCIA CF
wins CELTA 1-0 to heat up "La Liga" & make the top position
accesible to all 3 teams.

Seville FC takes top stop after winning Barça in a great match,
the stuff all fan wish for with end to end football, chances all
round & tough play ( 3 Red Cards).

Barça started well with an early goal from RONALDINHO after
heading a fabulous Zambrotta pass - pictured below celebrating.

It looked liked Barça would take control when a penalty was

awarded with a Red Card to Seville´s Ocio. Ronaldinho took the
shot & it was well saved by PALOP - pictured below.

With Seville one man less Barça stepped up a gear & pressured hard,
but when least expected a brilliant turn & shot by Seville´s
Russian forward KERZHAKOV put the match into a 1-1 draw.

This rattled Barça & gave strenght to Seville, who came out in
the 2º half strong, & from a free Kick DANI ALVES scored a cracker
to give Seville the lead with a 2-1 scoreline

Then it was no holds barred. GUILY was unjustly given a Red
Card & later ZAMBROTTA as well for "bad words". Barça
brought on Eto´o & Saviola to try & get one back. It was end
to end stuff with missed chances at both ends.
The whistle blew & Seville FC is the now the new leader of "La Liga"

VALENCIA CF
won well to get closer to Barça & Seville FC &
add itself as a firm candidate for the title. A highlight was the return
to football of DEL HORNO who has been out all season due to
injury. The ex Chelsea palyer - pictured above - played well &
is a welcomed asset for Valencia.

In the 66min MORIENTES scored the only goal of the night
to clinch the 3 points for Valencia CF.

"La Liga" gets exciting & tonights games with its results puts
pressure on Real Madrid, Zaragoza & At . Madrid to do well or
risk missing the train.

RESULTS & SCORES:
Valencia CF ( Morientes) - Celta 0
Seville FC 2 ( Kerzhkov;Alves) - FC Barcelona 1 (Ronaldinho)

Sevilla it's a great team. Barcelona and Real Madrid must take care of them. The title for both is not going to be easy this year
