REAL MADRID knows that it
has to plan for the future & begin
renewing with young players for
key positions. Robert Carlos has
34 years of age, Cannavaro has
32, Ronaldo & Van Nistelrooy
+ the 30 years of age.
The 1º signing for the "future
proyect" is MARCELO - pictured -
who has been bought for
6,000,000€ from FLUMINENSE.
He is a left back, an International for
Brazil & will be the player to take
over from Roberto Carlos.
The club may officially
present him next Monday
to media & may incorporate himself to the club
next January or be loaned to another club until
June 2007, according the Spanish daily "AS".
Another player that REAL MADRID is going after, although they
face tough competition from MILAN & CHELSEA is Argentine
young sensation & RIVER PLATE forward GONZALO PIPITA
HIGUAIN of 18 years of age.
Real see him as the succesor of Ronaldo or Van Nistelrooy in the
future. Plus he has "community passport" & can now take the
place of Cassano, who looks more like leaving the club than staying.
Other players on the Real Madrid list are GAGO( Boca) , CHIVU,
MEXES,( AS Roma) BELLUSCHI (River Plate) & ALEXIS (Getafe)

Great players. Will they cause tension with the now stars?
Great Blog... its a prime reference for all global fans
So long as Higuain doesn't go to Liverpool.
There were a couple French clubs who also expressed interest in the youngster too.
Hi Lena, nice to see your comments.
Always good.
True, he has many euro offers.
Cheers
