Austrian coach MAX MERKEL
has passed away at the age of
87.
He is loved , specially by At.Madrid
fans for coaching & taking the team
to win the SPANISH CUP ( 1972) &
SPANISH 1º DIVISION TITLE ( 1973).
He also coached SEVILLE FC, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke
04, Augsburg & Karlstruhe.

Consiguió la Clasificación del Atlético de Madrid para la Copa de Europa de Clubs de 1974, era apodado "Mr. Látigo".
