"LA LIGA" ROUND 9 RESULTS. SEVILLE FC TAKES LADDER LEAD

Big Round 9 of "Liga" matches with plenty of goals & surprises.
Yesterday 3 matches were played & the rest have been played today
with SEVILLE FC taking the lead from FC BARCELONA in the
Spanish 1º Division ladder. Big wins for ZARAGOZA, VILLAREAL
& CELTA
, this last, defeating REAL MADRID at home.

SEVILLE FC won OSASUNA 2-0 with another goal from
KANOUTE who is sharing the Top Goal Scorer list with
Diego Milito of ZARAGOZA.

Below pictured is NAVAS who played well & contributed in his
team victory & helped take his team to the Top of the "Liga" table

DIEGO FORLAN scored & helped his side VILLAREAL in its 3-2
victory of BETIS.

Another Uruguayian DIOGO -pictured below- celebrates his goal
for ZARAGOZA in their 3-1 win over GETAFE

NENE - below - bursts with joy after scoring CELTA´s first goal
against REAL MADRID

EMERSON scores late
in the 1º half to draw
the match & give his side
some hope for the victory
in the 2º half.

But the all out attack
team setting by Madrid

left many holes in their
defence ( rare until now)
& in another Celta
counter-attack JORGE

scored for Celta & gave
his team the victory.

Two counter-attacks , two
goals; a terrible result for
Real Madrid & a setback
in its plans.

I rated Kanoute when he was at West Ham and then again was impressed with his play for Tottenham Hotspur... so its good to see him continue to progress at Sevilla.

By the way Striker- it was clear to me from the midweek champs league match with Chelsea that Barca really miss Eto'o and Henrik Larsson... and that Ronaldinhio doesn't look the same player without Eto'o in the team.

Hi T, nice to see you hear & add your valuable comments.
Kanoute is certainly showing his class here.
Referring to Bcn, Eto´o is a big loss & since his injury Ronaldinho has taken on the burden...that means seriousness & responsabilty. This has hampered his easy going , carefree football & it is hurting the side.
Ronaldinho lately plays with the usual smile on his face.
Cheers
