VAN NISTELROOY´s face says it all. REAL MADRID wonits Group E match thanks to a "silly" own goal by the STEAUA
BUCHAREST player.
Real Madrid managed to secure the 3 points & secure their
pass to the next competing rounds of the Champions League.
The Spanish team did not shine at all, but hey, a win is a win
& with the topsy turby form of Real thats just fine.
NICOLITA for Steaua Bucharest innocently passed the ball
backwards to his goalkeeper to find that he was´nt in
his position, gave Real the only goal & the lead.
Later a penalty to Madrid was given & VAN
NISTELROOY - pictured - missed it as the ball flew
pass the goal.
This was the feature of the whole match. The game finished
1-0 to Real that left an "indifferent" attitude with the spectator.
DAVID BECKHAM come on in the second half , was active & played
well, plus RONALDO made an appearance for Van Nistelrooy but did´nt
have time to get into the match. Keep an eye out for Ronaldo in coming
days, as it is tense & the player could explode at any moment due to his
bench warming time.
