SPANISH NATIONAL SQUAD UNDER PRESSURE & WITH DISUNITY

This weekend is dominanted by SPAIN´s important match
against SWEDEN, were Spanish coach Luis Aragones is
under intense fire from media & from inside the team.

His decision to leave out RAUL has created an intense debate,
& many players are coming out in Raul´s defense outside &
inside the squad. The latest to join in is Valencia player JOAQUIN

who has stated that the team under Aragones is a complete mess.

Bad news indeed. If Spain loses this Saturday against Sweden, it will
almost certainly hail the end of Aragones´s future as national coach.

In SFS opinion, Raul has been rightly left out of the squad because there
are other players in better form & in Joaquin´s case because he is not as
good as he thinks. ¿Your say?

I agree with you. Although it may have hurt his ego, I think leaving Raul out wasn't such a bad decision: Spain need some new blood and ideas in their squad.

I think it's bad form for players such as Joaquin to create media controversy. Instead of saying such things, he (and others) should concentrate on the task at hand: qualifying for Euro.

Also, a win against Sweden is crucial for morale.
