his knee yesterday in the
Spain - Argentina friendly
match, and doctors say
he will be off the field
for 6 months.
Atletico´s coach Aguirre
slammed the match as a
waste of time, as it
celebrated the opening of
a remodelled football staduim in Murcia ( Sp region) were the turf was
a scandal & contributed to his players injury. Maxi made the comment
that no one really wanted to play, but Federations forced the issue.
The outcome, the loss of a vital player in Atletico´s scheme of things
& will be be dearly missed by fans & all football followers. Get back

I wonder if Atletico will be compensated in some way.
I agree... this is really bad news and I feel for Atletico fans like you Striker who now have to accept that Maxi is effectively out for the season.
