He believes he can win a place in the side & does´nt want to move.
He has faith in hard work, persistence & some luck.
Today he has a small prize: he has been called up to form the squad
for this Sundays match against VALENCIA.

I to like the player, Rijkaard does´nt, must have his reasons. The player is determined to win a place in the team & win over his coach. Shows personality & must be awarded sooner or later.

I don't think Rijkaard particularly dislikes him since he was the one who gave Saviola back a regular spot 2 seasons ago, but it might be more a matter of Saviola's abilities as a Eto'o-style center forward. He's a great player, but natural attributes such as height and physical strength don't favour him.
Here's hoping he does get to play some matches this season.
