After 7 years at ATLETICO DE MADRID , its star striker
FERNANDO TORRES has today renewed with the club another
2 years, until 2009. That´s the good news, the other way to look
at this , is the following: His "restriction clause" ( a contract clause
only in Spain, were any club that pays the stipulated amount literally
takes the player away to his team) goes down to 40,000,000€. That´s
within reach of many big clubs & does´nt secure his future at
Atletico.
Until then ,"THE KID" will dress the red /white jersey & hopefully

Siempre fiel al atleti, siempre fiel a unos colores, prefiere jugar en el atleti porke lo siente en el corazon a irse a clubes mas grandes...

El mundo de futbol da muchas vueltas, yo no conozco nadie ( y si hay, son poquisimos)sobre lo que comentas.
FTorres tiene 22 años ,acaba contrato a los 25, tambien a negociado su clausla de 90 & 40M€...accesible para los grandes. Se ira, es solo cuestion de tiempo. No hay sitio, en hoy dia, para el romantisimo en el futbol.
Es todo imagen, comer la cabeza a la peña, vender y ganar dinero. Y FT lo hace todo muy bien.

Pero el se ha quedado proque quiere, el atleti le hubiera dejado salir si el hubiera querido. Prefiere aguantar aunque logicamente si el Atleti sigue asi solo es cuestion de tiempo aunque el Atleti mejorara.
La verdad es que casi todos los futbolistas son unos mercenarios.
