FC BARCELONA played at home OSASUNA & won 3-0 with two
goals from forward Eto´o & the other by young Argentine star
Leo Messi. Great game by the team, specially Deco, Ronaldinho &
company.
The other match saw ATLETICO DE MADRID stumble to VALENCIA
at home, losing 0-1. Valencia scored early with a goal by David Villa,
which put Atletico on the ropes. In the 2º half Valencia´s Moretti received
a direct red card, which gave Atletico the advantage with Aguero & Galetti
on the field. Then, a stupid mistake by Torres - answering back at the ref -
won him a red card , at the time his team was attacking powerfully. They
never regained that element again . Bad stumble this 2º round for Atletico,
will leave a sour taste for days.

Truly childish, disappointing behavior by Torres just when Atletico were putting lots of pressure on Valencia's defence.
