SPAIN began well in
the BASKETBALL
WORLD
CHAMPIONSHIPS being
held in Japan.
Spain defeated New Zealand
86 - 70 in its opening Group
B match.
The experts give the Spanish
national side an excellent
chance of going far in this
tournament. They have a new
generation of young & class
players, many of which are in
US NBA sides.
The team is lead by star player PAU GASOL, with other overseas
stars as CALDERON, GARBAJOSA, NAVARRO...& company. Next
match against Panama & let´s hope Spain´s time to get to the top has
